Comedian and author David Walliams lost his contract with publishing house.
Prolific children's author and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
A spokesman for the publisher stated: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an investigation into claims about conduct deemed unsuitable towards female individuals.
The firm declined to specify the reasons for its decision, stating: "We do not comment on internal matters."
An Illustrious Literary Career
Walliams is one of the UK's most prolific writers for young readers, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins back in 2008.
Several of his titles, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.
His bibliography includes over four dozen titles combined, encompassing a festive story called *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins this past October.
